I Love MONEY

Filmed in Kenya, I Love MONEY was an incredibly enjoyable project to create. I would like to thank the Lord Erroll restaurant in Nairobi for generously allowing us to film on location.

The film’s artistic direction was heavily inspired by the elegance of Peggy Lee’s Why Don’t You Do Right. Its lyrical storytelling and musical sophistication guided my creative choices. As both a musician and filmmaker, I aimed to ensure that the music enhanced the visual narrative. The costume design was intentionally rooted in the 1940s aesthetic, reflecting the era in which the song was originally recorded (1942).
